Dr Pritee completed her MBBS from the Topiwala National Medical College & B Y L Nair Hospital in 2003. She then finished her DNB in General Surgery from Jagjivan Ram Hospital, Western Railway, Mumbai Central, in 2009. She further honed her expertise by specialising in Peripheral Vascular Surgery, earning a Gold Medal during her DNB training at the Army Hospital Research & Referral in Delhi in 2014.

She was awarded the VSICON 2020 Young Researcher Award for her work on Rivaroxaban to treat cancer-associated venous thromboembolism. She also received the Best Paper Award at the Vascular Society of India Conference (VSICON 2012) for her research on the 18F FDG-PET scan as a future gold standard for graft infection.

Dr Pritee Sharma serves on the editorial boards of esteemed journals such as the Indian Journal of Vascular Surgery and the Journal of Vascular Surgery – Vascular Insights. She is also a Diplomate of the National Board and a teaching faculty member for Peripheral Vascular Surgery. Additionally, she is an Executive Committee member of the Venous Association of India.

Dr Sharma has published 14 national and international research papers in indexed journals and has authored two chapters in textbooks on vascular surgery. She has been invited to speak at various international vascular surgery conferences, delivering over 30 talks at national and international events.
