He is a pioneering Heart-Lung Transplant Surgeon of International repute and is credited with Northern India’s first Lung transplant in post-COVID patients. He is spearheading the team IHLD (Institute of Heart and Lung Diseases) in providing groundbreaking solutions to patients with end-stage heart and lung diseases.

Dr Rahul Chandola did his MBBS in 1998 and MS in 2000 from Banaras Hindu University. He also completed his MCh in CTVS Surgery from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur in 2005.

He also completed his Clinical Fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery, Heart Transplantation and VADs from Toronto General Hospital, Canada and his Cardiac Surgical Fellowship from Charite, Humboldt University, Germany.
